Barbara kruger

Barbara kruger was born on January 26th, 1945 in Newwark , New Jersey. She studied in school of design, Worked with Conde Nast, working in design department of mademoiselle. Later that year she was named the head of the magazine. Her early artworks date to 1969. Her art work included feathers, ribbons, beads ,sequins and other feminist objects . Later she was not satisfied with her works, she abandoned her art and moved to California, where she taught at the university of California for four years. She then took up photography, by a series of black and white details in her textual works. By 1979 she again gave up photography and got back to art but with words collage on them, her latest collages it shows that she was a perfect graphic designer. In 1980s Barbara Kruger perfected a style of agitprop signature, using large-scale, black and white images and cropping. In recent years she has extended her aesthetic projects, showcasing her work in exhibitions, galleries, museums and parks. One quote, which I like, is “ I have no complaints, except for the worls.”Barbara Kruger”
